From Our President
When you join a sorority in college you are told that it is a lifetime commitment; that you'll make lasting friends and that the experience will change you for the better. All of this is true.
Unfortunately, when you graduate we don't do as good of a job at telling you about what to expect as an alumna.
When you graduate you realize that not as many women are in sororities as you thought (for whatever reason) so meeting someone from your own, or another, affiliation is comforting. Similar experiences during recruitment, or as a chapter officer, or living in the chapter house means you have an instant connection with another sorority woman.
As a sorority alumna you know you need to do more...participate in service or philanthropic events, raise scholarship money for deserving undergraduate and graduate students, to make things better. It is hard to not be involved when you are a sorority woman..it is part of our DNA. Being with other sorority alumnae who are also called to serve is inspiring. Our collaboration makes good things happen!
I invite you to attend the Central New Jersey Alumnae Panhellenic's Quarterly Meetings, participate in our social events and celebrate with us at our annual Scholarship Luncheon. Not a member of a local alumnae chapter or club? No problem! Are you a recent, or not so recent graduate, who is new to the alumnae scene? We welcome all! Not from Central New Jersey? Not an issue (but you do need to believe, like we do, that "Central" Jersey is a real thing!)
I hope you'll find that the Central New Jersey Alumnae Panhellenic allows you to fully enjoy your lifetime commitment of sorority membership, to make new and lasting friendships and to continue to make the world a better place. I look forward to meeting you!

The Nominations Committee is excited to announce that nominations are open for the role of CNJAPA Treasurer.
It is important to note that the Treasurer role is a two-year term. Candidates can be nominated by another CNJAPA delegate, or they can self-nominate. Candidates must be the delegate or alternate delegate, or would be willing to serve in either role upon election to the Treasurer role, from a member organization in good standing with CNJAPA. Please share this opportunity with your member organizations, we would love to cast a wide net in search of the best candidates.
