RECRUITMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

Introductions, also called References or Letters of Recommendation, are written by alumnae members on behalf of students participating in the recruitment process. Letters give sororities advance notice that a student is planning to participate in recruitment and may provide information to the sorority about why this particular student might be a good addition to the chapter.  The importance of a having recommendations will vary from campus to campus and between the national sororities so a student/family may want to contact the Office of Greek Life to learn more.

Parents and students are encouraged to visit  The Sorority Life, a website created by NPC to help Potential New Members learn about National Panhellenic Conference sororities and sorority life in general.  This site gives you information on recommendations and other contact info for each of our 26 organizations.

Each year, CNJAPA gets recommendation requests from students in the Central New Jersey area who are planning to participate in recruitment across the country.  We are happy to share those requests with our Delegates, however the earlier you contact us, the better! For more information and/or recommendation requests please email our Secretary at cnjapa.secretary@gmail.com.

Your recommendation request email should include:
